About Me
I'm Shihab, a freelance web developer based in Bangladesh — I design and build websites for clients around the world, full-time, on my own.
How I got here
I don't have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering. I have a general MBA and a BSS, and a decade-old habit of teaching myself to code because I loved it. Before this business, I spent two years at the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, and two more across a couple of telecom companies in Dhaka — steady jobs, but not the work I wanted to be doing.
So I took the less secure path: I quit the regular job and started building websites for clients on the side, then full-time. It meant giving up a predictable monthly paycheck for a business where every month is a little different — but it's the first work that's ever felt like mine.

Where the business stands today
My website has gone through a few lives since 2020 — it started as a small Node.js and MongoDB app, and I later rebuilt it in WordPress so I could spend less time maintaining my own site and more time on client work. Along the way I wrote about the freelance journey itself, which brought in readers, and eventually clients.
I stopped leaning on freelance marketplaces early on and built my own client pipeline instead — mostly through this website, word of mouth, and referrals from people I've already worked with. That's still how most new work finds me today.
What I do
I build general business websites, eCommerce stores, portfolios, blogs, and WordPress sites — end to end, from design through development. If you're looking for a long-term working relationship, or just want to say hello, I'd like to hear from you.
